Oshima Trench Coat

DORO-AI

DORO-AI

Mud indigo

Oshima is woven in deep indigo and a unique black color by mud-dying silk thread that has been pre-dyed with vegetable indigo.

The tortoiseshell pattern, a staple of Oshima men's clothing, expresses intricacy through the number of tortoiseshell patterns in relation to the width of the fabric.

In addition to the glossy surface and the sound of the fabric rustling, the precious status of "embodying the fabric's background and craftsmanship" is something that is rare among the countless types of clothing.

In tribute to this finest fabric, we use it as is, with the aging that only comes from decades of time.

This DORO-AI is equipped with a special button to protect its back.

The concho is made from an old Japanese coin from 1915 (Taisho 4), the year the name "trench coat" is said to have first been introduced to the world.

Five kimono fabrics with five different patterns are used.

The lining is dyed with mulberry leaves.
